Alicia Veglia

Alicia Veglia is a 22 year old recent college graduate from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree in Art History. She is a new employee of The Good News Girlz, and as their assistant performs a wide variety of tasks and has fun while doing so. Alicia is also pursuing law school, although she does not know where she will be attending, but plans to be enrolled next fall. She is extremely passionate about music, and worked as a student radio station DJ throughout college.

Andria Rucker

Andria grew up in the North of England. She is a member of a large family with a long tradition of gardening. Always an adventurer, she spent a season running a small restaurant in Saas Fee, Switzerland before living in and truly experiencing Southern France. She came to Dallas Texas in 1977 to explore the new World. Not surprisingly, she has gardened here too and was amazed when her first Texas garden was described as “a real English Garden!” Her interest led her to become a Master Gardener with the Dallas County agricultural Extension Service.

Before following her family to Texas, Christy grew up in Agoura Hills, California where she was a highly competitive figure skater. Currently, she resides in Uptown Dallas and enjoys movies, shopping, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

Cynthia Salzman Mondell is an independent filmmaker committed to making films and videos that she feels have something to say about the world she lives in. Her first documentary on housing and the lack of it, Promise and Practice, aired on public television in l977.
