Kay Winzenried is a freelance writer, photographer, and consultant. Widely published and highly respected, Kay is often interviewed about her food, wine, and travel experiences. Her climb of Mount Kilimanjaro has been chronicled in a feature segment on local cable television and she is writing a book about the adventure. Kay, a traveler's traveler, organizes and hosts specialty travel programs for small groups to exotic destinations like Bhutan and Peru. Prior to launching her communications career, Kay was an executive with the Neiman Marcus Stores. She holds an MBA in Management from San Francisco State University and a B.S. in Clothing, Textiles and Related Arts from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
