2004 juxtaposition Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley

Gabrielle handcrafts her wines.  This food friendly wine is a blend of cabernet sauvignon (76%) and syrah (24%).  On the nose it delivers aromas of blackberry, cherry, mint and vanilla.  On the palate it delivers soft, but firm tannins.  Flavors of blackberry, licorice, black currant, cherry and vanilla.  Beautiful wine that I paired with chicken, nutty green rice and roasted vegetables at a recent dinner with the Girlz.  Retail price is approximately $45.  Can be found in the Dallas area at your local retailer or you can order directly from Gabrielle at www.gwines.net.
