2005 Aia Red Blend - Napa Valley

I had the pleasure of tasting this wine at our annual Women for WineSense Holiday Wine Exchange.  This red blend from Miner Vineyards presents aromas of pepper, earth and subtle berries on the nose.  On the palate the wine offers pepper, mint and chocolate.  A food friendly  wine that pairs nicely with flank steak, Aia is a blend of 36% Cabernet Franc, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 2% Malbec, 1% Sangiovese.
