Day 18 - The Black Dress

It was an embarrassment of riches when we walked into Barney's to meet Suzanne Warner and Paula Acosta for our fittings. There seemed to be no end to the fashion cornucopia made available to us during our visit. I finally chose this Comme des Garcons black and white coat, Manolo Blahnik boots, yellow Givenchy bag, and Paul Smith sunglasses. Thank you Suzanne and Paula!

Suzanne and Paula chose the coolest fashions for me. It was hard to decide which to feature, but I love this Lutz and Patmos sweater with chain embellishments and the satiny Alexander Wang for Barney’s Co-op shirt. My LBD looked especially sharp with light gray, surprisingly comfortable Stella McCartney boots. I wore a Iosselliani for Barney’s bracelet and carried a stunning Balenciaga clutch.

Had fun with working with the girlz at Barney's to accessorize the LBD. Love the Miu Miu boots paired with a Lanvin top, necklace and bag that Suzanne and Paula selected for me.

Barneys was a real treat. Paula and Suzanne provided us with several pieces to try with the dress. I was everything from a rock star (don't laugh) to a Jackie O impersonator. Everything was devine. This outfit showed off the black dress the best, with a Lutz and Patmos fur jacket, The Row leather leggings (really comfortable), Givenchy belt (can be used as a necklace), Lanvin shoes ( I HAD to bring those home with me) and Rettore cuff.
