Day 20 - The Black Dress

Another perfect weather day in Dallas. I had meetings for a fashion show for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital at Park Place Rolls Royce so the LBD had to look chic and classic. I chose my layered gold chains, classic hoop earrings, black opaques and my favorite patton pumps. The LBD is a bit low cut so I wore a tasteful black teddy with a tiny bit of lace to cover the plunge.

Meetings, errands, and the little black dress. I was ready for everything with my favorite green scarf, a woven belt, and go-everywhere flats.

Full day - starting with 7:30am meeting and finally home from my last meeting at 11. Dressed for comfort, style and warmth. A sheer gray sweater over the dress and belted with a black belt. Gray lacy tights and my edgy animal print boots for a little flair. Finally a simple gold chain and leaf earrings.

A Banana Republic sweater (it's always cold on airplanes), red scarf Judy brought me back from France, a white tank, and comfy black leggings are perfect for plane travel. Even my boots are easy to remove for the security line --- and no bulky jewelry to set off the alarms. If the weather is warmer in Dallas when I get there, the sweater goes. This is the life of layers.
