Yesterday we drove to Dijon. Had a fabulous lunch at La Maison Milliere, a small cafe in a fifteenth century building just behind the Eglise Notre Dame. This was perfect because the famous owl of Dijon, La Chouett, is on that church's north wall. Legend has it that rubbing the owl's stomach with your left hand brings luck and makes your wish come true.

We also went to Les Halles, the market designed by local son, Gustave Eiffel.  It has that iron lacy look of the Eiffel Tower and the same scale. It's a huge place with hundreds of vendors.

We bought some mustard, but were a bit suspicious about the whole made in France thing since we were told that most Dijon mustard is now made in Poland with mustard seeds sent over from Canada. That is just a shame.

The LBD was at its best with jeans, boots, a print scarf and a warm black hoodie. It's very cold and we've had more snow.

We left Dijon this morning on the 6:32 TGV to Charles DeGaulle Airport for our flight back to Dallas. For the flight home I wore the LBD with tights, a black sweater, turquise scarf, and boots.

As the trip ends, I can say with conviction that the LBD can make a three week trip using only accessories and shoes that fit in a roll-aboard suitcase. I've been able to make enough outfits that look good, feel good, and vary enough to avoid boredom.
